It’s ok if your foot is very close to the back edge when they’re brand new, as long as your heel isn’t hanging over. They’ll stretch and soften to make more room the more you wear and break them in.
At first, your shoes may feel stiff or too tight. The break-in is a sign of quality shoes and handmade leather.

Mohinders are designed in California, USA and made in Northern Karnataka, India. Each pair is made by master shoemakers in the shoes’ town of origin, Athani Village. Centuries-old technical skill plus modern updates make them distinctive, wearable shoes that only get better with time.
The primary material is our shoes is vegetable-tanned water buffalo leather also made by artisans in a village nearby Athani.
They also feature a cushioned footbed, soft leather lining, stacked leather midsole, and a durable and grippy crepe rubber sole.
