Classic sweater with a straightforward silhouette that encourages easy layering. Made from our special Sartuul wool, SAGA is finished in a dense plain knit with a characteristic crewneck and broad ribbed hems, with a characteristic knitted sky artwork across the body.
Fits true to size and is designed with a slightly loose fit. We recommend choosing your regular size or sizing down.
Material: 100% Sartuul wool, a rare breed of nomadic sheep from the Mongolian steppe. The wool is sourced from the “Green Gold” project, a Swiss development program which organises cooperatives of nomadic herders in the Mongolian steppe. The project helps herders preserve their traditional way of life through artisanal fiber production of heritage Mongolian breeds – like Sartuul and yak.
About the brand
Sustainability has been at the core of Aiayu since their inception. It began with an intuitive conviction that it only made sense to produce things respectfully, responsibly, and conscientiously. It is not something we have tried to retroactively work into our business model along the way.
They have developed a set of principles which guide how Aiayu reduces its ecological impact and betters the lives of each person involved in making our products.
