Inspired by nature, without unnecessary or harmful ingredients. Our wool is OEKO-TEX certified. Forestry Wool blankets are designed in the Netherlands and produced in mills in and around Europe. Predominantly Lithuania, Italy and Ireland.
FW was established in 2013 by Virginia Star Busmann. With a bachelors degree in visual art from AUT, a career in design and a passion for wool and textiles, coupled with a move from her home country New Zealand in 2009 to the colder climate of the Netherlands, triggered the inspiration to create a blanket collection with her own unique style of design.
